Ventures

I run several companies at once, and they are not a scatter — they are the same thesis approached from different angles. AI changes how software gets built (Skill-Driven Development); that only pays off on top of real knowledge infrastructure; and once agents start making consequential decisions, the decisions have to be defendable. Each venture below is one bet on part of that arc.

  • eXOReaction AS

    Founder, owner & CTO · 2021–present

My flagship and R&D engine. Home of Synthesis — AI knowledge infrastructure for large codebases — and the place where Skill-Driven Development was pioneered. This is where the methods and the open-source tooling get built and proven (197,831 lines of production Java in 11 days was one such proof).

  • Mynder

    Interim CTO · 2026–present

Secure AI agents for compliance and risk — automating GDPR, NIS2 and risk management inside safe governance boundaries, with the explainability and audit trail regulators actually ask for. It is the real-world proving ground for the Defendable Agents thesis: determinism at the core, provenance you can replay. Built in Norway with support from Innovation Norway and Helse Vest IKT.

  • Ægis AS

    Founder & CTO · 2023–present

The AI-era development partner — it packages how we actually work with AI and makes it usable by other teams: talks, workshops, advisory, hands-on builds, and the tooling from years of production use, plus agent-readiness and maturity assessments. Ægis is Skill-Driven Development as a practice you can hire.

  • Sunstone Tech AS

    Founder & CTO · 2019–present

Consulting and product development — advisory, software architecture, and hands-on engineering across client engagements.

Open source & community

Not every hat is a company. Much of the work happens in the open:

  • Cantara — the open-source home for KCP, Whydah (SSO/IAM), Xorcery, and more. See the full Open Source page for what lives there and at eXOReaction.
  • Communities — co-founder of JavaZone, former president of javaBin, founding chair of OSWA (formerly IASA Norway). The full record is on Organizations.
  • Holdings — ownership and investment sit behind the operating companies through T-Hex Holding, T-Hex Invest, and eXOReaction Employer Holding.

For the chronological version — every role with dates — see the CV. For client and consulting work over the years, see Project History.
